Musical education includes ongoing courses in electronic music production using Ableton Live and Push3 whilst embarking on studies in composition and orchestration with Dr J Teaches Music, a PhD qualified tutor and Ableton Certified Trainer.   Instrumental training has been largely self-taught after studying music and playing the French horn in senior high school.  Michelle is completing Sound Healing Certification with Billy Zanski based in Nashville, USA.  Previously Michelle obtained certificates in mindfulness studies at Monash University's Centre for Contemplative Studies including mindfulness for peak performance, parenting and wellness.  Alongside her creative training, Michelle holds Post Graduate qualifications in Migration Law and Business Administration from Murdoch University and the University of Western Australia.

Michelle's creative process is a blend of studio and field recording.  She is exploring 3D audio using a Sennheiser AMBEO VR Mic, the industry-standard ambisonic microphone designed for capturing immersive, fully spherical 360° audio.   This immersive technique allows you to experience the instruments positioned around you, enveloping you in rich, multi-dimensional soundscapes.   Each piece is carefully composed, mixed, and produced to guide you on a unique journey into calm and restoration.   Weaving in nature soundscapes to transport you from a cozy lounge studio into lush forests, babbling rivers or gentle ocean waves.

At Freelease Reset our intention is to create a rich tapestry of sound healing experiences including live accoustic sound healing events, immersive audio albums, spoken lyrics and guided mediations.  Each offering is crafted to nuture your mind, body and spirit, inviting you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your true self through the power of sound.  The Freelease Reset App is under development.  Stay tuned for track and album releases.
